Position Overview:

This medical office position is responsible for providing direct nursing care in a medical office setting under the supervision of a physician. The role involves assisting medical providers, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and ensuring compliance with practice policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include:

1. Assessing patient needs and health plans.
2. Completing all necessary documentation in the patient’s medical record according to charting policies.
3. Preparing equipment and assisting physicians with medical treatments, exams, and procedures.
4. Arranging specialized consultations and testing appointments as ordered by physicians.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED with completion of an accredited medical assisting program.
• Experience: Preferred: 1 year of related experience.
• Certifications: Required: Medical Assistant certification, AHA BLS.
