Aurora Medical Group in Illinois is seeking a Medical Assistant for Oswego/Naperville locations. The role supports the care team with clinical and administrative duties, ensuring patient safety and confidentiality while maintaining professionalism and compassion.

The position is full-time, with a 40-hour workweek, Monday-Friday hours varying from 7am-8am and occasional Saturdays. Staff float between Oswego and Naperville offices to cover patient needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have a medical assistant diploma or 2 years of medical assistant experience or be a certified MA with 2 years of medical assistant experience, to qualify.
• Phlebotomy skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
