Description: Job Summary

Perform nursing and administrative duties to support primary health care and patient management under a physician's supervision. Duties are delegated based on training, organizational policies, and state laws.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform nursing and administrative tasks.
  • Prepare patients for exams, take histories and vital signs.
  • Under supervision, perform specimen collection and basic lab tests (e.g., urine drug tests, blood glucose).
  • Prepare exam rooms and assist in minor surgeries and exams.
  • Administer injections, apply dressings, and maintain supplies and equipment.
  • Assist with scheduling, maintain patient files, and compile reports.
  • Participate in meetings and work closely with physicians for patient care.
  • Complete documentation and communicate effectively with staff and patients.
  • Respect patient confidentiality and maintain a professional environment.
  • Adhere to dress code, working hours, and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain equipment and perform clerical duties as needed.
  • Support team efforts and assist in problem-solving.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of medical procedures, equipment, and safety standards.
  • Skills in documentation, communication, and patient care.
  • Ability to follow instructions and react effectively in emergencies.
