Job summary

USA Clinics Group is hiring a Medical Assistant to balance patient needs and sustain an efficient office workflow. You will support physicians before, during, and after procedures and ensure patients have an excellent service experience.

Position offers 1-2 years of clinical experience with phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection. Travel not required; multiple Dallas-area locations available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program is preferred.
• Current CMA, CCMA, or RMA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming experience.
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in EMR/EHR.
• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection as trained.
• Document patient interactions accurately in EMR/EHR systems.
• Maintain high-quality patient service in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Support care using EMR/EHR platforms like Epic, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks.

Position Summary:

As a Medical Assistant, you would balance the needs of patients and maintain efficient work flow of the office as well as provide support to the physician in all facets of medical procedures – before during and after. In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday
• Locations: Dallas, Irving, and Southlake clinics
• Compensation: $21-$24/hr
• Paid training

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR).
• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification.
• Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems.
• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.
• Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments.
• Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar direct patient care role (e.g., Medical Assistant externship, CNA, HHA, Nursing Assistant, or Patient Care Technician)
• Experience performing clinical duties such as vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or current CMA, CCMA, or RMA preferred
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment,
• Fluency in Spanish & English
