Qualifications

• Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants or in process of acquiring certification is a plus.
• CPR certification required upon hire and recertification bi-annually.

Responsibilities

• Administers health questionnaire to patients.
• Updates patient information in Epic (EMR system).
• Prepares patients for exam & treatment.

Skills

Bilingual (Spanish-English or English/Creole)

Excellent interpersonal skills

Knowledge of medical terminology

Education

Graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant Program or CNA/PCT program
