We are seeking a seasoned Medical Assistant to serve as our companywide float. The MA must be willing to travel to all Esse Health sites in the greater St. Louis area and two sites in Illinois (Swansea and Shiloh). For a full list of locations, visit our website.

Job Summary

The Medical Assistant performs delegated duties under supervision, assisting in examinations and treatments, interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, and recording information in patient charts or EMRs. The role also includes front office responsibilities such as answering phones and scheduling appointments. The Medical Assistant interacts directly with patients and must always project a positive, welcoming attitude.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • CPR Certification
  • Proficiency in PC/Windows, medical coding (preferred)
  • Strong communication skills and a focus on patient satisfaction
  • Ability to work effectively with physicians and staff
