GI Alliance in Texas seeks a Medical Assistant Float to support multiple offices across the region. You will assist clinicians with patient care, prepare exam rooms, collect vitals, and help manage patient flow while also handling clerical tasks and charting.
The role requires at least one year of MA experience, a high school diploma or MA credential, and the ability to travel between offices. Proficiency with EMR systems and strong communication are essential to ensure accurate patient
Serve as the medical assistant float between the offices within the region/territory as needed. This position may be involved in both the clinical and administrative areas including assisting physicians with patient care and handling clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinical services.
Education: High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED), medical assistant diploma from an accredited vocational institution, or a college course in medical assisting.
Experience: Minimum one year of recent experience working in a medical facility as a medical assistant and/or documented evidence of externship completed in a medical office. Experience working in a Gastroenterology practice is preferred.
