Job summary

New York Cancer and Blood Specialists (NYCBS) is seeking a Medical Assistant - Float to join a patient‑centered team. You will manage patient intakes, perform venipuncture and rapid tests, assist physicians, and support diagnostic procedures across multiple NYCBS locations in the New York area.

Responsibilities include specimen handling, lab support, room preparation, equipment sterilization, and accurate EMR/LIS documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Experience with outpatient care or lab settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture, specimen collection, and rapid tests.
• Assist in diagnostic testing and in-office treatments.
