Job summary

Revere Health in Eagle Mountain is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our clinic. The role requires flexibility for evenings and Saturdays and focuses on professional patient interactions and accurate documentation.

The ideal candidate will multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment, assist with examinations and minor procedures, manage records and messages, and support providers with patient care. A high school diploma or GED and prior medical office experience are required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with computers and EMR systems.
• Phlebotomy skills.
• Must have a high school transcript or GED to work in our CLIA waived lab.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, friendly service to all patients and co-workers, contributing to a positive and professional work environment.
• Collaborate with providers to assist in patient care and accurately document patient encounters.
• Room patients, obtain vital signs, and prepare them for examinations.
• Retrieve and organize prior records, including x-rays, office notes, and test results.
• Review messages and paperwork with providers and respond promptly and professionally as directed.
• Assist with examinations, invasive procedures, and minor surgical procedures performed by providers.
• Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary equipment and supplies.
• Clean and sterilize rooms, equipment, and instruments before clinic hours and between patient visits.
• Document orders, referrals, and laboratory tests accurately.
• Track and document follow-up activities related to health maintenance and quality care measures.
• Manage patient messages and tasks in a timely and professional manner.
• Administer medications as ordered by the provider.
