Job summary

Center for Vein Restoration is seeking a Medical Assistant in Tigard, OR for a full-time, day-shift role. You will provide hands-on patient care, support the clinical team, and help maintain documentation and patient education in a busy vein care center.

The role offers a structured schedule with clear growth opportunities, no nights or on-call duties, and benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance. Travel to CVR clinics may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience
• Must have reliable transportation
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred
• Must be able to travel to CVR Clinics

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent patient care
• Train new clinical staff as needed
• Provide feedback and answers to patient calls as appropriate
• Attend periodic team meetings
• Display a caring and courteous attitude and represent the practice in a positive, professional manner
• Provide and document assessments, obtain and document vital signs, provide patient care, education and counseling as directed by the provider
• Formulate a multimodality treatment strategy for venous insufficiency under provider direction
• Take accurate lower extremity measurements for fitted compression stockings
• Take photos of the leg for medical necessity purposes
• Generate patient referrals as necessary for continuity of care
• Maintain accurate and detailed reports and records
• Complete documentation within 24 - 48 hours
• Assume duties of a Surgical Tech when needed to include mixing medications and assisting with sterile and non-sterile procedures
• Assist in patient positioning, prepping and draping according to guidelines
• Assist physician during procedures; sterile gowning/gloving, handling instruments, etc.
• Apply compression stockings and dress procedural sites as ordered
• Adhere to infection control and safety policies
• Prepare and maintain procedure room and inventory using Hybrent
• Maintain logs and checks for medications, codes and inventory
• Other duties as assigned by management or clinical director
