US Fertility is hiring a Medical Assistant for our Clear Lake, Texas location. You will perform phlebotomy, manage lab supplies, and support physicians and ultrasound staff in a fast-paced fertility care setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal MA program.
• Background in women’s health preferred.
• Strong patient orientation and be a team player.
• Professionalism and strong customer service skills is a must.

Responsibilities

• Perform a high volume of phlebotomy.
• Maintain supplies for the blood drawing stations.
• Ensure lab specimens are sent to proper labs.
• Document patient care services utilizing daily logs and patient records.
• Utilize the computer in entering labs and printing labels.
• Assist physician or ultrasound technician with various procedure.
• Assist with HSGs as needed.
• Take vital signs and provide general clinical assistance.
• Assist with the clinical care of fertility patients.
• Provide patient/couple counseling, procedure teaching, communicates physician orders and instructions.
• Provide pre and post op education.
• Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and patients’ families.
• Works independently to assure the program goals are achieved.
• Support and promote excellence in customer service.
