Job summary

IMA's Medical Assistant team in Pittsburgh, PA supports providers with patient intake, vitals, and non-diagnostic evaluations in a fast-paced clinic. You will perform blood draws, EKGs, and screenings, keep rooms stocked, and guide patients through the evaluation process while developing clinical and administrative skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; MA training/certification preferred.
• Clinical or healthcare experience is a plus.
• Comfort with phlebotomy and EKGs, or willingness to train.
• Strong communication with a patient-first mindset; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Support providers during patient intake and evaluations.
• Record vital signs, medical histories, and health data.
• Perform clinical tasks including blood draws, EKGs, and screenings.
• Assist with charting, documentation, and front-desk coordination.
• Keep exam rooms and equipment clean, stocked, and ready.
• Guide patients clearly through the evaluation process.
