Qualifications

• Graduation from Medical Assisting program or School of Practical Nursing.
• Current LPN Licensure or CMA or RMA; 1 year to obtain licensure/certification if needed.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to examination room, obtain vitals, document in EMR.
• Support physicians in documenting patient visits in EMR during visits.
• Administer medications/vaccines and treatments per clinic policy.
• Prepare equipment and assist providers during exams and treatments.
• Restock supplies and sterilize instruments and rooms.
• Arrange referrals/prior authorizations as necessary.
