Job summary

USA Clinics Group is hiring a Medical Assistant to support physicians and maintain smooth workflow in our West Palm Beach and Port St Lucie clinics. You will greet patients, assist during procedures, document histories, and perform tasks within the scope of training and certification.

Responsibilities include vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, specimen collection, and EMR data entry, using systems like Epic, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years hands-on clinical experience as Medical Assistant or similar direct patient care role required.
• Experience performing clinical duties such as vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant training program and/or CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred.
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment required.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in EMR/EHR.
• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and related duties.
• Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information in EMR/EHR systems.
• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of interactions in a fast-paced clinic.
