The role of the Associate Medical Assistant involves providing patient care via direct or telephone contact, following established standards. You will coordinate with the care team to ensure seamless service and active patient participation. Assisting physicians with clinical procedures is also part of the role.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Demonstrate clinical competence in patient care and assisting with procedures.
  2. Perform clinical duties within scope, adhering to department standards and protocols.
  3. Proactively address patient and family needs, communicating effectively.
  4. Escort patients to exam rooms promptly.
  5. Assist during exams and diagnostic procedures, demonstrating clinical competence.
  6. Perform authorized procedures such as vital signs, vision screening, and lab tests.
  7. Seek guidance from healthcare professionals when necessary.
  8. Prepare e-prescriptions as instructed.
  9. Maintain and process instruments and equipment per manufacturer guidelines.
  10. Process specimens accurately for laboratory transport.

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 2 years of relevant entry-level experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with 1+ years of recent experience
  • Current CPR / BLS certification

The hourly pay ranges from $16.00 to $24.42, based on factors like experience, education, and location. Benefits include comprehensive packages, incentive programs, stock purchase options, and 401k contributions, subject to eligibility.
