Job summary

Aurora Medical Group (AMG) Rivercenter – Family Medicine is hiring a Medical Assistant in Milwaukee. This full-time role supports providers, engages with patients, and helps ensure compassionate, smooth care delivery in a busy primary care setting.

You will cover other clinicians as needed and work a 40-hour week with specific Monday–Friday shifts, within an integrated health system offering comprehensive services.

Qualifications

• MA program completion or 2 years verifiable MA experience.
• BLS certification within 45 days per department policy.
• LPN license valid in state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care in the electronic health record.
