Job description

We are seeking a full-time, 36-hour Medical Assistant to support this office on-site. This office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Ensuring efficient patient flow through the office
  2. Assisting during office visits (rooming, examinations, procedures, and treatments as directed)
  3. Performing clinically appropriate tasks related to coordination of care (general patient guidance, test results, prescription refills, etc.)
  4. Maintaining neat, clean, and safe patient care areas
  5. Interacting with patients and their families in a professional, friendly manner consistent with their needs
Required:
  • High School diploma/GED
  • Either BLS or Annual Manikin training including CPR and AED after 6 months of hire
Preferred:
  • Medical Assistant Course or diploma program or a minimum of 1-year professional experience
  • National MA Certification via AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT
