Position Highlights:

• Shift Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, evenings/weekends available
• Department: Family Medicine
• Location: 1920 W. 1st St, Winston Salem, Piedmont Plaza I

How You’ll Impact Patient Care:

Your responsibilities include:

• Providing exceptional patient care and supporting medical operations
• Managing clerical tasks, scheduling, and assisting with examinations and procedures
• Conducting patient interviews, recording vital signs, and documenting meticulously
• Preparing examination rooms, administering medications, and following infection control policies
• Maintaining medication records and supporting point of care testing

What You’ll Need:

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting preferred
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC

Current Medical Assistant certification from one of the following is required:

• CMA from AAMA
• CCMA from NHA
• NCMA from NCCT
• RMA from AMT, American Allied Health, NHCWA, NAHP, or NRMA
