ProMedica is seeking a Medical Assistant for its Family Medicine practice in Adrian, MI. The role supports patient-centered care by gathering data, documenting visit reasons, and obtaining vitals, while communicating with patients and the healthcare team.

Requirements include a high school diploma, BLS CPR certification, and certification or registration as a Medical Assistant. Prior medical office experience is preferred.

In the office setting, the Medical Assistant communicates with patients and co-workers and collaborates with leadership to recommend changes to improve patient care.This person in this position provides a safe patient experience from the moment they walk into a ProMedica facility. From fathering data from the patient to documenting the reasons for the visit and obtaining vitals, the medial assistant strives for clinical excellence.Communication is key in this role. You will communicate with patients, peers and all members of the health care team.
