Job summary

The Vancouver Clinic, Inc. P.S. is hiring a Medical Assistant to join our Family Medicine team at the Northern Star location in Vancouver, WA. This full-time role supports rooming patients, gathering information, and preparing them for exams while assisting with care delivery and top-of-scope activities.

EMT or CNA candidates are welcome. Onsite training aims to obtain the WA MA credential, with a Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm schedule and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of MA certification or formal MA program or equivalent military training.
• Washington State MA credential within required timeframe.
• Current BLS certification; Epic EHR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, collect information and prepare them for examination.
• Assist with overall delivery of patient care and top-of-scope duties.
• Receive onsite hands-on training for MA responsibilities.

Join the Family Medicine team at our new Northern Star location!

Responsibilities include rooming patients, collecting patient information, preparing patients for examination, assist with overall delivery of patient care, and receive additional hands-on training to work at top of scope.

Expectation to receive onsite training and obtain WA State MA-R credential.

Hiring range is generally between $20.59-$25.18 and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience and licensure/certifications.

Location: Northern Star (14201 NE 20th Ave Ste B200, Vancouver, WA 98686)

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Required completion of one of the following : Combination of experience and training resulting in a nationally recognized MA certification or completion of a formal MA program or formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces or *EMT training and certification or experience and certification as Nursing Assistant-Certified. Must obtain Washington State Medical Assistant credential within required timeframe and maintain in active status throughout employment.
• Current healthcare provider BLS required
• Experience with an electronic health record, Epic experience strongly preferred

Pay Range:

$20.19 - $28.27
