Corewell Health Rockford ICC Family Medicine Internal Medicine Peds is a large integrated practice located in Rockford, MI. The Medical Assistant will join a busy team at 8501 Meadow Creek Dr Rockford, responsible for supporting physicians, nurses, and other staff to provide in-office care.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package and an on-site team dedicated to patient flow, with a focus on accurate patient data, procedures, and efficient scheduling across 36 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a hands-on competency-based MA training program required.
• 1 year experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting preferred.
• BLS certification required within 90 days.
• One of CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, or NRCMA required within 120 days.

Responsibilities

About The Practice

Corewell Health Rockford ICC Family Medicine Internal Medicine Peds is a large integrated practice. We are located at 8501 Meadow Creek Dr Rockford MI 49341. We currently have 12 Physicians and 7 APP’s along with RNs, LPNs, MA’s, and ACT. We are a busy practice. We perform in-office procedures along with multiple other office visit types. Our medical assistants work in tandem with either another MA, nurse, or ACCT, to facilitate a smooth workflow for our providers' tight schedules.

Scope of work

As a Medical Assistant with Corewell Health, you'll be a member of our clinical support team and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of the best possible care. You'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required
• Successful completion of a hands-on competency-based medical assistant training program Required
• 1 year of relevant experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting Preferred
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days
• One of the following Required within 120 Days
• AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
• AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
• NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA)
• NCCT Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
• NAHP Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)
