Job summary

University Hospitals Pain Management is seeking a Medical Assistant to support daily clinic operations. You will perform basic MA duties and help manage patient flow, ensuring smooth front desk functions including scheduling, check-in/out, and collecting payer information.

Attention to PHI compliance is required; you will follow UH policies, participate in annual PHI trainings, and adhere to the UH Code of Conduct. This is an on-site role located in Chardon, Ohio.

• Responsible for all front desk duties specific to department, including scheduling patients, collecting and verifying patient payor information and other patient documentation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.

• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
