Intermountain Healthcare in Utah is seeking a Senior Medical Assistant to provide patient care in an ambulatory clinic setting. The role requires MA training or equivalent experience, BLS certification, and basic computer skills for data entry and EMR usage.

Qualifications

• Proof of completion of a Medical Assistant program OR at least one year of Medical Assistant work experience OR current active and in good standing RN/LPN license to practice nursing in the state of Utah.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Demonstrated basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry.
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Provide Patient Care: Under the direction of the Clinician, providing care to patients by assisting the provider to gather information that is relative to the patient’s visit and condition.
