UW Health in Madison, WI seeks a Medical Assistant (MA, CMA, RMA, CCMA, LPN) for Ear, Nose and Throat. You will prepare patients for exams, document medical history, assist providers, and promote healthy living.

This full-time, day-shift role offers diverse schedules and strong benefits. Qualifications include an accredited MA program, LPN licensure or MA apprenticeship, and CMA/RMA/CCMA certification, with CPR/BLS required.

Work Schedule:

Full-time, 100% FTE, day shift. Shifts are scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Medical Assistant (MA, CMA, RMA, CCMA, LPN) - Ear, Nose and Throat to:

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited medical assistant program or
• Licensure as an LPN or
• Completion of the UWH Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program or an Employee Partner Medical Assistant Program or
• Attainment of the CCMA certification as a UWH employee or
• Acceptance into the UWH MA Apprenticeship Program - Accelerated or
• One year of recent Medical Assistant experience and CMA, RMA or CCMA Certification

Work Experience

• 1 year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant or LPN Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Certified as MA, CMA, RMA, or CCMA within 1 Year Required or
• Licensure as an LPN Upon Hire Required
• If applying in lieu of Medical Assistant education or LPN licensure, must have current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification Upon Hire Required
• CPR/BLS certification Upon Hire Required
