Clinical Support Associate (MA, LPN, or EMT) - Sussex Clinic (Full Time, Day Shift)

Your Role:

As a Clinical Support Associate, you'll work in a float capacity within the clinic, supporting various providers and ensuring a seamless patient experience. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Rooming patients, taking vital signs, and preparing them for exams.
  • Assisting with procedures, administering medications, and documenting patient information.
  • Providing flexible support wherever it's needed to meet clinic demands.
What We're Looking For:
  • Certification or licensure as a Medical Assistant (MA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). * Or experience. **New grads welcome to apply!
  • Current BLS certification (or the ability to obtain upon hire).
  • A flexible and team-oriented attitude, with a passion for patient-centered care.

What You Will Do:

Provides direct care to patients under supervision, supporting the healthcare team to promote healing and well-being. Specific duties include:

  • Supporting ProHealth's Mission, Vision, and Values while adhering to customer service goals.
  • Preparing exam rooms, taking vital signs, verifying health history, and documenting in the EMR.
  • Cleaning rooms and maintaining supplies.
  • Answering calls, obtaining medical info, reporting test results, administering medications, and assisting with procedures.
  • Performing health screenings, specimen collection, Point of Care testing, and assisting with wound care under supervision.
  • Responding to urgent situations and assisting in maintaining clinic medications, vaccinations, supplies, and equipment.
  • Floating to other departments or locations as assigned.
What You Will Need:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Completion of Medical Assistant, EMT, LPN, or equivalent clinical training
  • 1 Year of experience
