Surgery Partners, Inc. in Central Florida is hiring a Medical Assistant/EMT to join our interventional pain management team. This role supports providers with exams, documentation, and patient communication, helping manage care flow and data entry in EMR systems.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with provider documentation and charting during patient visits, handling high data volume.
• Take vital signs, update histories, and perform intake.
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure equipment is clean and stocked.
• Assist during exams and procedures as directed by providers.
• Communicate with patients about upcoming procedures, instructions, and follow-ups.
• Coordinate communications with pharmacies and external providers.
• Manage phone calls, faxes, and secure messaging to coordinate care.
• Follow up on medical clearances, referrals, and lab results.
• Support front and back office tasks for team coverage.
• Ensure accurate entry of clinical documentation in EMR systems.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and professionalism at all times.
