Responsibilities

• Completes patient intake and medical history.
• Set up exam rooms for each visit, stocking rooms, clean instruments, etc.
• Works alongside a provider in the exam room to help complete templates in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Transcribes taped dictation of records and letters, and other material for physicians and physician extenders in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy using word processing and dictation equipment.
• Check documents for errors, including dates and format.
