Duly Health and Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the Vascular Surgery team across Elmhurst and Naperville. This full-time role is 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm with travel as needed. You will greet patients, assist with examinations and minor procedures, and support physicians throughout patient care.

Ideal candidates have MA certification, CPR, and EMR experience; phlebotomy is a plus. Competitive benefits, paid time off, and tuition assistance are available.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of Medical Assistant program or related health-sciences courses.
• Active MA certification through AMT/NCCT/NHA/AAMA/ARMA.
• CPR certification or willingness to certify.
• Phlebotomy certification within 90 days of hire.
• Prior experience as MA/CMA/CNA/EMT in medical office.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs and collecting health history
• Provide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes and other first aid procedures
• Certified medical assistants may assist with immunizations or injections
• Assist patients with prescription requests, address pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, update charting and filing
• Conduct onsite lab testing to include: EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose and urine pregnancy tests
• Maintains clean, warm and inviting examination rooms for patient visits
• Provide excellent customer service exemplifying Duly Health and Care CARE values
• Some travel to assist other local clinics may be required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Completion of Medical Assistant educational program or higher education courses in health sciences or related experience required
• Several of our clinical specialties including Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Family Practice, require active medical assistant certification through one of the following: American Medical Technologists (AMT) National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) National Healthcareer Association (NHA) American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA) American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
• CPR certification or willing to become certified upon hire required
• May require phlebotomy certification to be completed within 90 days of hire
• Prior experience working as an MA, CMA, CNA, EMT or 2 years of prior experience working in a medical office assisting with patient care
• Prior experience using an electronic medical record preferred
• College graduates from a health sciences program interested in gaining patient care experience and in pursuing a career in healthcare are welcome to apply

Compensation

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $21.43-23.63 for a Medical Assistant; Certified or Registered Medical Assistant the base pay range is $22.97-24.57, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
