Oak Street Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to gather comprehensive patient information and support providers in clinical decision-making. You will work within care teams to ensure accurate patient data, perform screenings, and assist with routine diagnostics during appointments.

Qualifications

• State or national certification or graduation from an accredited MA program.
• 1 year experience as a medical assistant.
• CPR or BLS Certification.
• Electronic Medical Record experience.
• Proficiency with Gmail, Word/Docs, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient patient flow and room patients promptly.
• Inventory supplies and stock exam rooms.
• Respond to patient requests for telephonic support (lab results, records).
• Administer vaccinations or point-of-care tests as allowed by state regulations.
• Import documents into EMR via scanning or upload.
• Participate in care team meetings to discuss patient care and clinic operations.
• Process orders for durable medical equipment.
• Request medical records from external providers.
