Job summary

MainStreet Family Care in Eden, NC is hiring a Medical Assistant to support on-site providers with patient intake, assessment, treatment and discharge across urgent and primary care settings.

Responsibilities include triaging patients, documenting vital signs and medical history updates, performing lab tests, preparing examination rooms, administering medications under supervision, and maintaining digital records with a rotating 4 days one week, 3 days the next schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Prior Medical Assisting experience or education is beneficial, but not required.

We provide a range of services including urgent care, primary care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine. • Position patients for x-rays following provider directives.
• Help monitor and manage medical inventory when needed.

Clinic Hours of Operation

• MainStreet:
  • Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• KidsStreet:
  • Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

KidStreet Locations

Montgomery, Pelham, Gainesville, Mobile, Augusta, Tallahassee, Columbus, Valdosta, Savannah, Charlotte,Wake Forest, Greenville, Wilmington, and Winston-Salem.

Rotating Schedule

Medical Assistants work on a rotating schedule, alternating between 4 days one week and 3 days the next, including every other weekend. This totals 7 workdays over a 14-day period.

Qualifications
