Qualifications

CPR/BLS/AED/First Aid certification required within 30 days of employment.
Diploma: High school diploma or equivalency; Medical Assistant program completed.
Must have California driver’s license and liability insurance.
EMR system enrollment within 15 days of employment.
Bilingual abilities may be required within certain BHS programs.

Responsibilities

Take and record vital signs and perform toxicology testing.
Monitor and document client self-administration of medications.
Provide health and hygiene support per individual plan of care.
Make rounds for withdrawal management clients and document symptoms.
Maintain charts and input data in the EMR as directed.
Assist with screening, orientation, admission, transfer, and discharge of clients.
Answer phones and direct calls; support with educational trainings.
