Job description

Medical Assistant - Dermatology

Location: Sevierville, TN

Pay: From $18 per hour

Must Have:

1. 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience in Dermatology
2. Dermatology experience
3. Surgical experience (preferred)
4. Scribing experience (preferred)
5. EMR experience with EMA or NextGEN

Responsibilities:

1. Triaging patients
2. Providing clinical assistance, including transcription and scribing duties
3. Greeting patients and visitors, and managing inquiries via phone or in person
4. Scheduling appointments to optimize patient satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization
5. Managing patient records by filing and retrieving information
6. Updating and maintaining patient accounts
7. Managing inventory and equipment, including ordering supplies and scheduling repairs
8. Maintaining confidentiality of patient information
9. Following policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations
10. Contributing to team efforts as needed
