Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking Medical Assistants to join our clinic teams in Grand Rapids, MI. You will work under licensed clinicians to support patient visits, perform vitals, EKGs, injections, and basic office tests, while handling administrative duties.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Complete an accredited MA program with externship/internship, EMT or Paramedic.
• Preferred: CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA/CMAC certifications.
• Minimum: 2+ years clinical experience if MA program not completed.
• Preferred: new grad or 1+ year clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Room set up and patient preparation.
• Taking vitals (Manual & Electronic).
• Perform EKG.
• Drawing blood and giving injections and immunizations.
• Performing office tests (Point of Care Testing).
• Pharmacology.
• Administrative duties.
• May perform or assist with in-office procedures/treatments.
