Qualifications

• Completion of supervised hands-on clinical training through practicum, externship, apprenticeship, or similar patient care experience.
• At least one year of Medical Assistant experience strongly preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED Required
• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program.
• Medical Assistant Certification Preferred
• BLS forHealthcare Providers at time of hire or within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and practitioners with routine blood draws, vital signs, immunizations, EKGs, and related tasks.
• Maintain smooth patient flow and anticipate needs in a fast-paced clinic.
• Support patient education and care coordination as part of the MA team.
