Job summary

Providence is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Tanasbourne site in Oregon. The role supports the nursing team and PCP, handling both administrative and clinical duties to provide basic patient care. Schedule is Monday–Friday Day shift.

Required qualifications include completion of an accredited MA program with externship or equivalent military training, plus phlebotomy training and national certifications. At least 1 year of MA experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited Medical Assistant program including an externship.
• Phlebotomy training completed or within 60 days of hire.
• BLS certification via American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
• 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing basic patient care under supervision, including administrative and clinical duties.
• Collaborate with nursing team and PCP to support patient care.
