Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program or 12 months of clinical patient care experience.
• Certification must be obtained within one year if not initially possessed.
• Active and unrevoked certification (RMA, CCMA, CMA, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and treatment including taking histories and vital signs.
• Assist with lab testing and phlebotomy, and give injections.
• Assist physicians in preparing for minor surgeries.
