Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Wisconsin is seeking a Medical Assistant to deliver direct and indirect patient care in the ambulatory setting under the supervision of a physician. You will participate as a member of the health care team and follow the patient care plan and clinic policies.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, graduation from an MA program or active CMA/RMA/CCMA certification, excellent communication skills, teamwork, and proficiency with EMR systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from a Medical Assistant diploma/associate degree program or active MA certification.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; EMR experience expected.
• Daytime hours; flexibility may be needed; BLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct and indirect patient care in ambulatory settings under physician supervision.
• Collaborate with the health care team and follow the patient care plan and clinic policies.
• Accept delegated tasks from RN or physician within scope of unlicensed personnel.
