Job summary

HCA Healthcare is hiring a Clinical Medical Assistant for the Conroe Montgomery Physician Group in Texas. This full-time role offers daytime hours Monday through Friday with no Nights, weekends, or holidays.

You will conduct patient check-ins, prepare exam rooms, assist with procedures, manage billing and scheduling, and support nursing staff to deliver high-quality care. Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of MA experience and MA certification (RMA/CCMA/CMA/NCMA/NCRMA); grads must certify

Qualifications

• 1 year of Medical Assisting or direct clinical patient care experience.
• Certification required from listed options or ABR-OE acceptable.
• Recent grads must obtain MA certification within 60 days of employment.
• One year of MA work experience without certification requires certification within one year.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling and canceling patient appointments.
• Checking-in and checking-out patients.
• Entering charges and payments.
• Answering the telephone.
• Verifying patient insurance and demographics.
• Collection of co-payments/coinsurance and personal balances.
• Assists nursing staff and performs selected administrative duties.
• May collect patient specimens.
• Takes patient histories and vital signs.
• Prepares exam and treatment rooms with instruments.
• Gives injections, and applies casts, splints, and dressings.
• Prepares and maintains supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization.
• Assists physician in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals.
• Performs other duties as required.
• Follows Physician Services policies and Code of Conduct.
