Job summary

HCA Florida Transplant Specialists is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team of professionals. This full-time position (Mon-Fri, days) offers no nights, weekends, or holidays, and emphasizes patient-centered care and clinical support across the practice.

You will take histories and vitals, prep exam rooms, assist with injections, labs, and minor procedures, and support physicians. Certification options include RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, NRCMA, ABR-OE, or recent grads must obtain certification

Qualifications

• One year of Medical Assisting or direct clinical patient care experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination by taking histories and vital signs.
• Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, including sterilization.
• Administer injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy.
• Assist physicians with minor surgeries and physicals.
• Answer practice calls and screen for referrals.
