Job summary

HCA Florida Specialists Neurology in Bradenton, FL, is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical teams by preparing patients for examinations, taking histories and vitals, and assisting with procedures.

Responsibilities include preparing exam rooms, administering injections and phlebotomy assistance, answering calls, and aiding physicians during minor surgeries and physicals; Medical Assistant Certification is required.

Qualifications

• One year of Medical Assisting or other direct clinical patient care experience in a healthcare setting.
• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• Medical Assistant Certification-required. Acceptable certifications are RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, NRCMA, or ABR-OE credentials is acceptable
