Job summary

Sharp is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patients, staff, and physicians in a fast-paced environment. You will help maintain efficient operations and high-quality patient care during a standard 8 AM to 5 PM shift, with 8/40 hours and weekend as needed.

Required are completion of a Medical Assistant program and AHA BLS for Healthcare Professionals. Certification in CMA or HM is preferred. On-site role with opportunities to contribute to clinical projects and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Certification of completion of a Medical Assistant Program.
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - REQUIRED

Responsibilities

• Assists patients, staff and physicians to maintain efficient operations and quality patient care.
• Demonstrates clinical competencies with high accuracy per department guidelines.
• Documents patient care events thoroughly and accurately.
• Supports front desk tasks and routes calls as needed.
• May schedule patient appointments and assist in other departments as required.
