Job summary

The candidate must be proficient with medical terminology and health care systems, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining patient confidentiality and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of chronic disease management.
• Knowledge of and ability to utilize internal and external resources.
• Expertise in patient advocacy and navigating complex systems.
• Ability to function in fast-paced environments and manage stress.
• Ability to work independently within certification scope.
• Ability to exercise sound judgement and professionalism.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English clearly.
• Experience with computers.

Responsibilities

• Travels as needed to fulfill staffing needs and support clinic operations.
• Maintains education requirements and passes annual clinical competencies and tests.
• Prepares patients and equipment for treatment and documents results.
• Maintains OSHA compliance and safety policies.
• Provides care to patients during visits, including intake, tests, labs, and medication administration.
• Maintains patient confidentiality of administrative and medical information.
• Assists staff and patients, supports teamwork as needed.
• Performs clinical intake, screening, vital signs, and medication reconciliation.
• Assists with procedures and ensures proper documentation of services and results.
• Educates patients about tests, medications, and diet.
