VIVO Infusion, LLC Medical Assistant/Customer Service Specialist - Center City (Philadelphia), PA

Position Overview: In this role, you will support our clinical operations by assisting our medical team, patients, and managing administrative tasks in our infusion center. Responsibilities include welcoming patients, assisting medical staff, and ensuring compassionate, safe care in line with regulations.

Candidate Profile: Prior administrative experience, strong initiative, ability to work independently, and flexibility to support administrative functions and medical deliveries as needed.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Pay Range: $18.00 - $25.00 / hr
  • Bonus Plan: 5% annually based on performance

Reports to: Clinical Operations Manager

Primary Responsibilities
  • Perform patient care activities according to standards
  • Room patients in person or virtually, update charts
  • Communicate patient data to providers
  • Provide administrative support: greeting, scheduling, calls, payments
  • Ensure efficient room turnover
  • Assist providers during exams
  • Handle lab specimens and obtain authorizations
  • Manage patient communications and supplies
  • Maintain infection control standards
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Handle hazardous materials properly
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA
  • Manage schedule changes and incoming mail
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Medical Assistant Certification
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • 6 months clinical experience
  • Preferred: 1 year in admin/customer service, phlebotomy skills
  • Strong communication, computer skills, and ability to interpret documents
