Under supervision, the MA works with physicians and the primary care team to address patient needs, coordinate care, and ensure efficient, compliant, and respectful service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Good communication and teamwork in a corrections healthcare setting.

Responsabilités

• Under supervision, perform patient‑oriented procedures and support the Primary Care Team.
• Provide clinical and administrative assistance to primary care providers and patients.
• Coordinate clinic operations and communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Assist in optimizing resource use and patient flow in a correctional health care environment.
