Medical Assistant (ConvenientCare Full-time FLOAT position)

Highlights:

• Hiring Bonus! Up to $1,000 for full-time Medical Assistants.
• Clinic locations include Aliquippa, Center, Chippewa, Ellwood City, Robinson, Calcutta, and Edgeworth, with floating between sites based on need.
• Shift hours: Combination of 8 and 12-hour shifts, totaling 40 hours/week, during Monday to Saturday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Job Responsibilities: The Medical Assistant I provides standard medical services and specialized testing under the supervision of Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners and Physicians, coordinating patient care needs.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• CPR certification
• Urine drug testing certification (must obtain within 6 months of hire)
• Successful completion of applicable background checks within 90 days of employment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree or higher
• Medical Assistant Certification (e.g., AAMA CMA, AMT RMA, NHA CCMA, NCCT NCMA)
• Minimum of one year medical assisting experience
• Computer skills
