Job summary

Allergy Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians in delivering compassionate allergy and asthma care. You will greet patients, take vitals, assist with procedures, document care in the EMR, and coordinate referrals and authorizations.

The role emphasizes patient education, teamwork, and adherence to HIPAA and practice protocols. Experience in a medical setting and OSHA familiarity are valued. Expect a professional, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• CMA/RMA from an accredited program or ABR-OE preferred.
• 1 year of medical practice experience preferred.
• Understanding of OSHA guidelines for ambulatory practices.
• Knowledge of medical record documentation standards.
• Understanding of medical coding for billing.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort to exam rooms; take vitals and prepare for examination.
• Assist physicians as needed during patient visits and procedures.
• Perform allergy prick testing and/or intradermal testing as ordered.
• Administer injections and collect specimens as permitted by state regulations.
• Enter charges and maintain accurate EMR documentation.
• Coordinate referrals, testing, and insurance authorizations.
