Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certification through a recognized national professional association.
• Basic Life Support (AHA BLS-HCP) certification required.
• May be provisionally hired pending medical assistant certification.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient assessment data for licensed staff.
• Transport patients through the office.
• Prepare the patient for provider evaluation.
• Maintain work area in a clean and safe manner.
• Document patient information in the medical record.
• Assist with lab procedures and diagnostic tests.
• Greet patients and assist with check-in/check-out.
• Schedule appointments and relay messages.
