ProHealth Partners Medical Assistant Combo II

ProHealth Partners is an established multi-specialty physician group with over 30 years of experience. Our network includes more than 250 physicians across 100+ clinics in the greater Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas. We are seeking a Medical Assistant Combo II for our Family Practice office in Lakewood.

Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Pay: $21-23 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts

Responsibilities

Front Office

• Greet patients and visitors in person or via phone, answer inquiries or refer as needed
• Enhance patient satisfaction, optimize provider time, and manage exam room utilization through efficient scheduling
• Verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility prior to appointments; prepare necessary documentation
• Maintain patient confidentiality and safety

Back Office

• Take patient vitals and prepare rooms
• Administer injections and draw blood as needed
• Review medical histories
• Assist providers with patient care
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Family Practice, General Practice, or Internal Medicine
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
• CPR Certification
• Bilingual skills are a plus
