Job summary

BayCare Clinic in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Medical Assistant / CNA to join our team. Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30am–5:00pm, with no holidays or weekends required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience required; general surgery experience helpful but not required.
• EPIC experience desired.
• A valid MA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist practitioners with patients; escort to rooms, take vital signs, and provide patient teaching as directed by a physician.
• Assist in pre-operative admission and inform nursing staff of patient concerns.
• Assist in post-operative execution of physician orders and with treatment procedures.
• Perform duties such as instrument handling, dressing changes, and sutures removal as directed.
• Schedule required tests and discuss results with patients as indicated by physician charts.
• Communicate with patients regarding medications and orders; ensure accurate documentation in the medical record.
