Job summary

NeoPath Health, Inc. seeks a Medical Assistant to join an employer-sponsored primary care clinic in the Green Bay area. The role supports practitioners, maintains patient flow, and performs clinical duties including vital signs, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing.

You will manage exam rooms, assist with procedures, document in the EHR, and communicate with patients and partners. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited MA program and BLS; AAMA certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program.
• Current AAMA certification preferred but not required.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills required, EHR experience preferred.
• Ability to cooperate, collaborate and communicate with all levels within the organization.
• Demonstrated organizational skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients and visitors, greeting them in person or by phone and addressing needs.
• Verifies patient information by interviewing the patient, reviewing medical history, taking vital signs, and confirming visit purpose.
• Assists health care practitioners during examinations; prepares lab specimens; performs on-site tests; sterilizes instruments; administers medications as directed; coordinates prescriptions with pharmacies.
• Manages organized patient flow and prepares patients for procedures.
• Documents patient-related information in the EHR per policy.
• Cleans and stocks exam rooms and workstations; maintains equipment quality control.
